Originally developed for surveillance and military operations, thermal cameras are now widely used for building inspections (moisture, insulation, roofing, etc.), firefighting, autonomous vehicles and automatic braking, skin temperature screening, industrial inspections, scientific research, and much more.
Peripheral Neuropathy Specialists uses this advanced FLIR thermal imaging technology to display in real time the subtle temperature variations associated with sensory autonomic pathologies. If a picture is worth a thousand words, this picture might just be priceless to you.
Our transcutaneous oxygen tension (TcPO2) monitoring device non-invasively provides accurate, quantitative information about oxygenation and perfusion to assist in the assessment and management of neurovascular diseases. The single-monitor offers six TcPO2 measurements in real-time of the perfusion of oxygen to the skin at multiple locations. Nerves cannot survive in the skin without oxygen and they will not heal with even our most advanced technology.
The transcutaneous oximetry [RCPO2] the accredited examination for the assessment of skin perfusion. This method is recommended for the measurements of skin perfusion in patients with PAD and diabetes. The TCPO2 is directly correlated with the arteriolar perfusion of the skin. in the normal subject, the TCPO2 values are between 70-80 mmHg throughout the limb, with values similar to those of the reference point of saturation of systemic oxygen.
Our team may determine that your results require one last screening included in our comprehensive complimentary examination. A quick screening for superficial venous reflux and arterial imaging may be performed during your visit.
An individualized and detailed plan of care will be discussed with you at the completion of your screening examination.
